  • 6 months ago, you offered this advice. I followed it (as well as other suggestions in these comments, and it has helped a lot. I did indeed need to break the habit of rushing the beat. Thank you!

  • 6 months ago, you offered this advice about playing to a beat that cuts off and comes back on.. I followed it (as well as other suggestions in these comments, and it has helped a lot. I used the training metronome from Justin Guitar. Thank you!

  • Recently I stumbled upon a weather app that provides what I need:

    • Displays current temperature in the status bar AND updates it (other apps I tried would not update it unless I manually opened the app)
    • Offers a widget that I can actually resize to fit the right spot on my home screen.
    • Actually updates the widget without me having to manually refresh it.
    • Displays the weather in my notifications list
    • Lets me turn off any features I don't need.
    • Lets me customize what information is displayed in what order.
    • Let's me pick the weather data source
    • No ads
    • Free

As a bonus, it has a beautiful visual design

It's called Weawow, and I found it on the play store after trying several other weather apps over the past few months.

Now I just glance at my phone and have the info I need.

  • Clothing and towels made with asbestos fabric. During the middle ages you could clean them by throwing them in the fire and they would come out clean. Eventually your lungs would give up on you but for a while you had a very cool way to impress your guests.

    • Ask your teammate what he studied to get better
    • Watch a lot of good debaters; note what they do that is good
    • Watch some bad debaters; note why they were bad
    • Debate, debate, debate, even if you have to do it over the phone
