Ubi connect will not work offline, even if you login online once and then immediately take the deck into offline mode. Connect fails to launch the game.
You can't stop a user from cross instance subscribing, so if a lemmy.ml user subscribes to ! Antisemitic@bob's-racist-emporium.lemmy.wtf before it's defederated, it should be immediately clear if posting across instances will have no effect to the posting user.
A real world for instance is that I have a subscribe pending to !steamdeck@soupli.xyz thst is either stuck or not being accepted. I've made posts before realizing that lemmy.ml is not federating with that instance and had no idea so I've been contributing to the ether.
This is a big roadblock for lemmy. There needs to be a clear indication that an instance is defederated from the community you're posting to and that doesn't currently exist.
A instance can make a decision thst it's users aren't aware of without some kind of marker.
This was created before the upvote display calculation change that makes reddit vote counts appear "more accurate to the real world numbers" or whatever they were saying at the time.
Nobody asked my opinion but my interpretation of how this whole fediverse "should" work is that while there can be empirical instances, federation shines with smaller, easy to manage instances thst connect to each other.
It's not just fast food though! Everywhere from the tiny ice cream shop to the boutique waffle place. Starbucks (who are becoming increasingly unionized) to the local sandwich shop that only does sandwiches, doesn't have tables and doesn't deliver all have tip jars now. It's up to the patron whether to do it or not and our laws should be updated to ensure people don't need them.
This is deceiving though. In The US tipping is literally everywhere now.
If you are waited on, I. E. Sat at a table or served at a bar, tipping is expected. If you go to a counter and place an order and someone hands you something while you're standing there, those workers aren't making 2.13/hr.
Valid. Unraid ships with docker, I'll play around and see if I can launch with this. Any idea if this works as a portainer stack? (obviously I'm a sucker for docker gui)
Sincerely, why? I ran 1440 165hz with my 3070 with mediocre success and even with my 4090 and games like jedi fallen order and valhalla hitch and stutter occasionally. Paired with a 7900x I was expecting better and feel like a lot of people get hung up on the numbers.
Certainly not the only coup I know about, but an attempt at one that directly impacted me.
Either way, your comment is kind of strong in my opinion, especially when you haven't done anything to explain this graphic or where it came from or the data behind it.
I'm not challenging you personally, just critically thinking through what has been provided.
By itself, and without context for the data this can be classified as misinformation. Are only considering successful coups? Because Jan 6th in the US can be classified as an attempted coup. There isn't enough information bring presented here.
