  • I hate adverts. People who know me often make jokes about adverts popping and trying to protect me from them.

    Everything is done by marketing, it is the biggest influence on everything we use. If you have ever had to untick every vendor on a web page, you know just how many advertisers scrub your data.

    I don't have any social media apart from lemmy now, I find it much easier and on PC adblocker is my best tool. I am currently moving all my emails, images and documents to Microsoft.

    People slate Edge but, it does what I need it to do. Its part of my system OS. Yeah Microsoft bad too but I dont care about that because if I had to say 'compare between the two' I would choose Microsoft now, based entirely on the business's current path, decision to remove adblock, its constant double standards with youtube and the amazingly stupid change of their old motto, just to clarify that they are now ambiguous to what side they are on.
