  • This seems to be expected since it is a similar camera to the one used in the Pro models last year, continuing a trend of some features temporary exclusive to the pro models for a year.

  • Apple Weather's forecasts are so bad my meteorologist made a post about it

  • Same thing in my country. The app says 0% rain today and next days with good weather but it hasn’t stopped heavy raining for hours.

    The national Weather service has predicted rain for today during all week so it’s not something out of the blue.

  • I’m not using their browser in part because of all the problems of the past, but the search engine is actually really good. In my case it’s better than DDG and bing.

  • I’ve tried the digital version and it just didn’t click… everybody seems to love it but the art, dozens of different versions and player count (not good with 2) always makes me think twice before buying.

  • Another vote for a new name here. Voyager For Lemmy is good, but anything else also works. Recommending "WefWef" out loud to anyone is just silly, especially in other languages.

  • Long time Apollo user and I’ve just uninstalled it after many years… Started using WefWef now and it’s really close in the interface but it still doesn’t have the all power features. The 3rd party ecosystem of Lemmy is now really strong and it’s amazing to see apps getting updates daily.

  • Reddit is a Dying Mall

  • I’m not so sure about it.

    Reddit is one of the biggest site on the web, has millions of users and thousands of communities that alone are much bigger than any of it’s alternatives.

    People using third party apps are a small minority and in a month things will be much calmer.

    However, I can really see lemmy and kbin as an alternative in a few years if the people moving now stick around. Not only that but with better content also (like Reddit a few years ago).
