The point is that they are not committing crime.

Not in my area. They make so much money standing on busy corners that they prefer to be homeless. I watched one for 15 minutes get 8 donations. It was all cash, so a minimum $8 for 15 min, $32/hour, tax free. They are making more money outside Walmart than working inside Walmart.

Edit: It seams like a lot of people are mad that homeless people in my area are not committing crime so they can have a better life in jail.

I don't know what to tell you. I never said they don't need help or that they have a great life or that they earn enough to get by. I said they make more money than the people who work in the Walmart that they stand in front of. There are woods behind, and they all camp out back there. I have been back there, it is quite a set-up.

An items worth is what someone is willing to pay. It's kind of the whole point of capitalism. If you don't like it, don't buy it.

Go tell that to the locals.

Locals are sick of all the tourist traffic in that area. There is a chance he will be a local hero.

So, plus or minus a little, it is similar to the US, but free.

Diversity is the most stable plan. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. Get food from multiple sources.

Define slow. I have to wait months or more for an appointment in the US. Is it that slow? Emergency visits take hours, sometimes charging people who wait but don't get service. Is it that slow?

Lemmy has become a shit hole. After the reddit API thing, I was full in for the switch. After a couple months, my third party app still works over at Reddit and there are actually enough non dickheads to generate some useful comments.

When that Relay stops working for free at Reddit I'll find somewhere else.

What is LEO? In my world, that is a Law Enforcement Officer but that doesn't fit here.

I actually appreciate cops keeping people to the speed limit. It is much safer for everyone.

Edit: While I appreciate cops doing this, I actually think it shouldn't be their job. We have meter readers handing out parking tickets. I think non LEO civil servants could issue citations for speeding too. That would free up cops to be arseholes somewhere else.

They probably need it because you have an AR15.

How would it split the vote? It's a two party system.
