  • Yeah, anyone who thought this was something that could change course in six months is just delusional. It's going to hurt, but actually having less reliance on a single trading partner is good for national security.

  • If someone reaches out out of the blue, when you've previously told them you have interest in them, talks for a while, then says they'd like to come visit you, a relationship isn't out of the question. I'd not get too worked up until that first visit, but I'd definitely be open to see where it goes.

  • I'm going back a ways, but there are the Darksword novels by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman.

Also, just about anything by Jo Clayton is worth a read. Hers are more space opera/fantasy than pure fantasy, but the space element is not really covered in a science fiction tone (if you replaced ships with plane hopping devices, little of the stories would change). Her Skeen Trilogy is certainly low romance (almost no romance), and the action really starts by chapter 2 or 3 (and chapter 1 has action, too).

  • The problem is, have you ever noticed how much hotter you are in a parking lot on a warm day than when you are in a park? Well, now those events are happening on a parking lot and not a park. Furniture can be designed to work on turf, or temporary fixtures could be put in place to mitigate the drawbacks of furniture on lawns, but the absorbed and reflected heat will be hard to get rid of. Hopefully this area is small enough to not have a big impact on the temperature there.

I honestly don't think it looks bad, but I suspect it's more for Trump to put his stamp on it than anything else, and to erase the efforts of others before him. And I suspect it will be more uncomfortable than it was before.

  • I prefer the yolks be as smooth as possible, but I just use a whisk attachment on my hand mixer. Beautiful, fast, easy, and I may have eaten the extra mixture stuck to the whisks when I'm done.

  • It's also worth noting that there's good evidence that cats self-domesticated, much more than dogs did. This will also have an impact on the relationship, with cats basically doing cat things for us on their terms and dogs doing dog things for us on our terms.

  • Well, as long as you're the only one with a busy life, I suppose that makes sense, but you still haven't explained why I should put in more effort than you're willing to.

As for the hole in the top, it doesn't matter if he makes another hole that doesn't require the top hole first. So sorry for not reviewing the video to be sure. If only I had cautioned that this specific video may not be relevant, but there were similar ones that would be. If only...

  • Rob Bob's Aquaponics channel has a lot of DIY stuff, and I'm certain I've seen him add spigots at some point or other. Here's a link that I think has him doing something like what you're looking for. If it doesn't, some searching through his decade of videos will get you results.
