Same genre for sure, totally different game in how it functions. It's like saying Quake is the same as Call of Duty because you shoot things.

I was only in marching band. 25 years later, I promise I could still do it with zero practice. This was on purpose.

You have 2 options for the S. Aim for 60 fps, or 30fps. If you target 60, most newer engine titles will look like the new Doom did at 60 fps, garbage. You have to run at such a low resolution to make it possible. At 30fps, you can at least not look like your screen is smeared with vaseline at the sacrifice of smoothness.

Give the player the option of 30/60 so they we can play how we want.

My wife's family is full hispanic, and most of them can't approach the heat levels that I, a white guy, can take. I could always take spicy food, and no, it didn't take years of being around it to build tolerance. Some people can just take high heat.

Grew up on well water, it tasted funny. Most water I tried to drink was from water fountains, tasted like copper. First bottled water I drank was Deja Blue, and it tasted like hose water. So I thought all water tasted like ass.

I didn't get that water could taste good until I drank actual bottled spring water. Now I have nice water filters that make my tap taste just fine, and I know what brands of water to buy if I need to.

I will probably reinstall this. Looks like a huge upgrade.

My first play through I got to oil production and restarted because I could see the complexity scale up fast and figured a clean slate would be easiest. I then got to the 1st stage of nuclear stuff and promptly stopped. I have yet to play again because I was waiting for the first patch a few months ago, and then heard they were working on controller support. I have a couple games I'm going to finish up and then start round 3 to see if I can increase efficiency to make it a smoother transition into nuclear. I had a massive bottleneck with building computer components that made it really tough to begin the nuclear options.

I honestly wouldn't mind replaying over and over and just stopping at aluminum/nuclear just because it gets a bit overwhelming.

Give your potential date an option of drinks [if you're ok with alcohol obviously) or coffee/tea. It let's them decide what they are comfortable with.

I absolutely joke with the interviewer by saying I like being able to pay my bills. It always gets a laugh, and then I go into fake reason I want to work there.

I was not a fan of DS at all, but Elden Ring clicked so hard. Thought I'd give DS another try, but nope. Even tried Lies of P, but still didnt get into it. I guess ER is just the perfect mix for me. I do want to try Bloodborne at least.
