Decay, poison and rot fits well within Halloween!

The light reflected from the Moon doesn't feel (as) warm, while direct sunlight does (winters may be excluded).

I do assume the day comes when we need to make the choice...but I hope I can give many more hugs to dem bots before that day comes!

While I agree with most of the listed items -

  \ It's good to rest once in a while, but you thrive more likely while doing something meaningful rather than lie in bed all day.

• "My worth cannot be measured by my paycheck, my job title, or a list of professional or academic achievements"
  \ While obviously not ALL worth can be found within the work life, one can find lots of meaningful things from their job. It can make one happy and offer many benefits that can help general life as well. And I wouldn't be surprised if one earned some achievements through experience and good mentions on the way if you were passionate!

Dunno about trying to imitate dialects but -

I'm a gamer that has played western games the most. I assume that means American English. All those youth years of mine delving in and jumping from a game to another, listening at cutscenes (with subtitles on of course) and talking to other gamers once in a while has probably the most influenced my skill of english.

I think I talk American English pretty fluently nowadays, although I don't speak English daily. Folks have said I'm pretty good at pronouncing.

I'd say if you cannot find content that interests you, go ahead and create content what you'd like to see here!

I feel like I have created more posts here under one month than ever at Reddit. I'm still a bit sad about the fact that there's much potentiality to some communities here in Fediverse that seem dead, so I try to kick them around a little with my own posts and see, do they start running also without me a bit later.

I don't have that much to post about but I try to come up with stuff once in a while! (I still wonder, is it OK to grab material from Reddit and copy-paste it in here. I asked about it in here but I didn't get any replies.)

I think if we were created to have butt rope, we would be accustomed to that by now.

Yeah - long traveling distances between work and home sucks and takes away from well-being in other aspects of life.

I haven't experienced that much negativity among coworkers or corporations in my work life.

There are many different cases, and stuff feels and works out differently accordingly.

Wouldn't have tried the game all by myself at least! Friends introduced it and it was cool that way.

I don't think I mind dying in the game but it can become a problem if someone takes your items from where you died while you roll for a new character...your chances become much smaller to go back fast to the end-game.

One pro about working with the rest of your coworkers in flesh is socialization. You get to talk with people during the day.

At home it's you, alone (if you live alone).

Of corse, some folks has it better working alone. I wouldn't have.

And, all work cannot be done from home.

Yeah, and not every game or story is about winning (at least 100%).
\ Some stories can be intriguing especially because of some loss, and if you manage to come back afterwards.
