Frontend dev living in the Swedish forests.

  • ooh okay! Also, I noticed it might be some lightning/shimmering effect making it look really odd.

  • Am I the only one thinking this liiks like AI slop? The text on the box is super inconsistent

  • I remember

  • Thank you for sharing.

I live well but struggle a lot to find job and I'm in an almost constant fear of losing everything.

  • It does feel like that sometimes! It's very sad that recruiting has lost the human touch. They seem to be blinded by years of experiences and checking boxes when they should recruit by personality, because a person can always learn. But you can't really do much about a shitty personality, exception if you see that spark underneath it all. Some people just needs a real chance and to be believed in.

A lot of recruiters don't even want the cover letter anymore, some have a few questions and some only go by the CV.

  • That's a great use!

  • If it truly helps you, I think that might be enough for me. I say truly because you need to use an AI with responsibility to not ruin yourself. Like, don't let it think for you. Don't trust everything it says.

I use it a lot when applying for jobs, something I've struggled with on and off for 12 years. I suck and writing the cover letter and CV. It takes me 2-3 days to update a cover letter for a job because it takes so much energy. With AI that is down to 1-2 days.

It's also great for explaning things in other words of if you're trying to look up something that's hard to search for, I don't have any examples tho.

I used to use it to help me formulate scentences since english isn't my first language. Now I instead use Kagi Translate.

  • Doing a mix is probably best, yes. It's been a long time since I learned a new language, but from what I remember, learning vocabulary is more about drilling new words and meanings, while the other exercises are more about understanding.

Just the fact that it takes more time to write by hand helps the learning process :)

  • Yeah I totally understand what you mean. Like, you can just open the app and do a few tasks, and put your phone in your pocket,, done!

With pen and paper, you need to get your notebook, pen, maybe studybook, open the right page, write (which takes more time) and then put them all away.

  • You're welcome. Did you know we actually learn faster and better when writing by hand?

  • Haha, fair. Sarcasm in text is hard.

  • I can't see it in the post tho

  • Ah, ok. Nothing indicated it was sarcasm tho 🤷

  • This isn't proof

  • Thank you! I'll check them out \o/

  • Damn, that's rough

  • I've started recently too. Slow and steady. But if this is true, I need to hurry tf up. It's sad we (in Sweden) practically HAVE to have a google account since we use an app called BankID for everything with banking and identifying ourself with the government. So no google account ≈ no id

You can get the BankID for your bc but only for windows and I don't have a windows pc anymore.

  • Please reply to this dorumon

If it's a ban from the whole google echo-system that is fucked up. I sadly still have a lot of important stuff linked to my google account.

  • I did a lot better on my last cardio training on the treadmill yesterday than I through I even could! \o/

I'm in the beginning on improving my stamina because it sucks rn and I barely have any lung capacity ;a; I've also been taking it super slow so far because I hurt my knee ~1.5years ago and I'm scared of making it worse. But after talking to a friend I got some new courage! Awww yeah!
