  • a council, appointed by the governor, has the pardon power in the state after it was stripped from GA governors because of corruption

Ah yes, I was too corrupt to have this power, so now instead that power lies with several of my close supporters that I hand chose to hold that power. Yep, that’ll solve the problem.

If you actually wanted to get rid of that problem either do away with pardons all together or have that council be chosen by like, the Georgia house, Georgia senate, some organization of legal experts, random lottery, or basically any method that isn’t the equivalent of me placing my phone across the room to stop me checking Twitter.

  • Wow, it’s almost like the rate of profit has a tendency to fall or something

  • Oh it’s absolutely mandatory, it’s just hard to listen to because of how horrific it was.

  • Season 1 made my very angry, but season 3 made me genuinely sick to my stomach multiple times. I was listening to it on a 9 hour drive home and had to turn it off for a bit when they started talking about napalm to avoid throwing up.

  • This hits home so hard for me, you described my home town perfectly. And then I got to

bright kids go off to college and don't come back

Yep. Of everyone I knew in high school who went to college, only one moved back, and it was to be a middle school teacher. Half the kids who didn’t go to college left too, at least in Orlando you can get a job at a theme park or a bar.

  • Same here, as a scientist no one gives a fuck what you wear day to day as long as you have closed toes shoes and tie your hair back

  • Except in very particular situations (Actors… that’s pretty much it) I don’t think employers should be allowed to have literally any opinion on your appearance past like, “don’t literally be covered in dirt.”

To be honest, interviews should be blind with fake names and voice modulators. On top of the obvious sex and race reasons that you shouldn’t be allowed to discriminate, I don’t think employers should be allowed to ban things like piercings, tattoos, dyed hair, weird hairstyles, etc.

Obviously you shouldn’t be allowed to fire a black girl for having light hair, but I don’t think you should be allowed to fire someone for having a green Mohawk and a septum ring either. Fuck off, it’s none of your business.

  • Cointelpro ended more than 50 years ago, in 1971. No one who did that is even in the FBI anymore. It's a completely different agency.

  • +500 FICO score. You may now lease your apartment from the landlord.

    10/10 good bit.

Also Alphabet Boys is great, highly recommend

  • If you have to sue to get something from the law, that law is only to protect rich people

  • I want to know the number of billable hours that were spent on this. Like, how much did this cost just in wages?

  • Is it in a recession?

Bro we’ve been in a recession for like, a year plus, wtf are you talking about

  • This is so fun and cool, the only bus that takes me home is supposed to come every 20 minutes, but they like to get so off schedule that currently the two busses on that route are currently one behind the other, with 40 minutes between them both showing up at the same time.

    I fucking hate this city.

  • If astrologists had institutional power it would be a nightmare, it’s only fun when not taken seriously at all.

  • They should at the very least have to pay him 40 hours worth of wages every week for the rest of his life, plus extra for the trauma.

  • Whoever was responsible for letting a 17 year old within range of a meat grinder in the first place should be fucking executed, along with their boss and boss’s boss, and boss’s boss’s boss. That is an appropriate punishment for permanently mutilating a child to try and make money.

At the very very least they should be required to pay him the wages of 40 hours of work every week for the rest of his life, and to make sure to save that up to set aside in case they go out of business.
