First, it's important to realize that while this anecdote is a bit anecdotal, it's actually a very good story that has a lot of legs and context. It's also a story with a very clear beginning.   • The thing is, it was good longer than you think. There is not a single human being who could beat it on any of the three measures of difficulty. The game had no concept of "time" other than the "action" it was playing. It was a design error that lead to the players being frustrated. It was a bad game in the long run.

  • You're not wrong, it's the game design that sucks. The game is a simulation of the human brain, the problem is that it's a simulation and the developers haven't taken a step back and said "ok, it's not like that". If they didn't take a step back and say "ok, I'm not really into this, it's not like that" then it would be easy.
