  • I can't speak for low battery, but I can for different brands of calcs.

Back in high school majority of students had this specific model, and I had a different one. My entire answer to a question on an exam was correct, but my calculator somehow calculated different decimals to the ones from the popular model. And it was like 4th, 5th decimal or something. The asshole teacher took all of my points away on that. Meanwhile, one of her fave students forgot a very important part of the formula which made the calculation completely wrong and the teacher still gave them half the points for it. God, I hated school, lol.

  • Many people rent them out. I know because I've met several people who use the service for their vacations every year. It's quite popular, and sometimes comes cheaper than to actually rent an airbnb or a hotel room when split between multiple people.

  • You don't need to shower daily. You absolutely do need to wash yourself in some other way, like with a washcloth. Unless you have no BO at all, more likely than not that bacteria colony under the armpits will make you smell bad regardless of if you had a "sweaty day" or not. Plus, wearing clean clothes helps a lot.

Anecdotally, I went to a gaming convention once and that taught me to never do it again. The smell was so bad. Living the stereotype. And on a recent concert I had someone stink so bad in front of me, it ruined the experience.

Also, as a side note. The article giving an example about why someone doesn't shower being not liking having wet hair. I've heard this once. Do people not know they can just... tie their hair in a bun if it's longer or just avoid wetting it if it's short?

  • This is why I avoid MMOs. Several years ago I picked up one again and ended up accumulating over 1000 hours over several months. And I didn't even play the main story for the most part. I remember clan members' reaction: "wtf, how have you not finished the story after so many hours played". The only reason I stopped literally over night was because I had something traumatic happen to me the following morning that fucked my life up for good. It quite literally required a life-changing event to shake me out of it.

  • This goes well with "We've all got the same 24 hours", as if someone who has to work two jobs to support themselves and their family is in the same situation as someone who lives off of inheritance or rich partner and doesn't have to work.

  • I'm sorry, I know this probably came off wrong to anyone who hasn't seen the show 😅 I've been very bitter about the showrunners running the show into the ground with their Christian bullshit.

  • This Devil is too busy "rehabilitating" damned souls in a broken system for the rest of eternity after his own child told him to fuck off to Hell. Courtesy of his abusive father called God. Also, threesomes are for sluts, and he isn't one anymore.

  • It's kind of funny how none of you decided to just... search it up 😆 Futari = two people; futanari = two + shape; futa = two, second. This is what happens when people learn Japanese from hentai anime (I did too back in the day), lmao.

  • Honestly, I'd be happy to find people who just want to play board games and party games (i.e. Mafia) sober, but with my circumstances it's rather difficult. Instead, I vicariously experience it by watching other people do it on the internet, heh...

  • Throughout my life I've come to realize that being a non-smoker and non-drinker (alcohol or caffeine for that matter) really puts you in a difficult spot a lot of the time. I've missed on a lot of crucial socializing because of it. People around here tend to meet and bond over these things. Plus, being the only sober person at a gathering... sucks, to put it lightly. My partner recently had to take that role at their work gathering, and after returning home, they just told me "now I know how you feel", lol.

  • Not wanting to financially contribute to a country that's invaded and has been performing genocide on its neighbor, and has been actively waging hybrid wars on European and US democracies is not virtue signaling.

    Also, this.
