It feels pretty good, as well as looks pretty good. YaST and the YaST installer have been basically in maintenance mode for a long time, without any active development for a number of years now, and it's certainly time to move on.
The installer looks very modern indeed. But as I said, I hope that it will ultimately offer the same configuration options as Yast.
But you're right, it's definitely time for something new that is actively developed and proper maintained.
