not only, unlike neofetch, it's not abandoned.
neofetch hasn't received any significant changes in the last 4 years, and the last commit is 2+ years old.hyfetch also provides neowofetch command, which works just like the old neofetch (no flags, if you want that for some reason) but includes all the new features and improvements (such as additional package counter sources, e.g. cargo, pipx) so there's no reason to not use it
