I've been mostly using Ubuntu and it's been working mostly well but I do want to switch at some point. I've tried Porteus but I've tried it on two different computers and I couldn't get the WiFi adapter to work on either of them. I know why it's not working on one of the computers but the WiFi adapter in the other one works just fine with Ubuntu so I have no Idea why it's not working.
I've got my eye on some other distros that I want to try but I haven't had the time or the desire to try them yet.
POP!_OS was one of the distros I was looking into but there are two reasons I'm not currently thinking about using it. First, the main reason I want to switch to a different distro, is because Ubuntu isn't very optimized. When I tried Porteus, it booted fast and everything loaded much faster than Ubuntu, but I obviously can't use it because of the WiFI adapter issue. The second reason, is that I want a different DE and I liked cinnamon when I used porteus, so that or something similar like LXDE might be what I want.
