What does he really expect? If he wants to play with nukes and threaten ultimate destruction every other week, this is what happens. A local deterrence force ready to retaliate.
Violating a country's airspace seems to be unnecessarily provoking.
Not sure what the best way to handle North Korea is but this does seem like a questionable decision.
Given the relationships between NK and US they could just shoot it down without any warning. So either they couldn't shoot it, or this is just made up.
These forces are more about containing/controlling China. NK just doesn’t want to be left out of the news.
