1 arrested, 1 wanted after chase, crash on Holmes Road

Every police chase is a danger to innocent people's lives. No stolen car is worth that risk.
Are police supposed to stop chasing a stolen vehicle? What would that kind of action tell criminals? Yea go ahead and steal more vehicles, we won't pursue you.
Yes. It is literally policy in most civilized places to not chase them. Because chases lead to car crashes. And car crashes happen to be a tad bit fatal when people are going fast.
So basically you are saying we must risk the lives of the general public every single time somebody starts to run. People must die so criminals understand they might not get away with stealing that car.
Have you thought this through?
Chasing some criminal in my stolen car isn't logical. I'd rather just deal with the insurance company and move on.
What good is a totaled car? I'm still making an insurance claim but now I have to deal with wreckage. You think the cops are going to be paying the towing and storage fees?
I still disagree. The car's monetary value is irrelevant. Crime needs to be enforced or else there is no point. Why even have police at that point?

Here ya go. This is why ya don't fucking chase them over stupid shit.
This is a pretty naive take and it highlights a lack of critical thinking and / or empathy.
