Federal judge rejects request from Oregon senators who boycotted Legislature seeking to run in 2024

If this had gone their way, it'd just set precedent for the other party to do the same thing. It'd be a great way to never have any legislature pass ever again, I guess.

Finally some real world standards are applied to our worst legislators. I can claim first amendment rights all day, but after 10 unexcused absences in 6 weeks, where their absence actively prevents a body from functioning, you get shitcanned.
