Letters: As another busload of immigrants arrives, remember, Denver invited this mess

Funny, because the entirety of the policy that resulted in them being here was not only against US law, but also against International Law also. Much like the measures Texas took on the border, which violate national law, international law, and the international human rights declaration.

We have no right to hold people in camps at the border. We have no right to separate families. We have no right to deny asylum claims because someone went through another country first, we have no right to deport those seeking asylum.

If you want less people coming to the southern border, support reparations for the trillions of dollars of damage we’ve done to South America by overthrowing their democratically elected governments and installing dictatorships.
