He will continue to enjoy the privileges afforded to former members of Congress who leave under less controversial circumstances. As long as he isn’t criminally convicted, doesn't take a job as a foreign lobbyist or isn't advocating for a specific piece of legislation, he will be able to stroll the halls of the Congress, including access to the floor of the House of Representatives.
He can dine in the exclusive House restaurant, exercise in the Capitol gym and borrow books from the Library of Congress.
Now criminally convict him.
- Yeah, serving half his term when everyone knew he lied about everything before he was seated is fucking ridiculous.
You could palpably feel the hum of dissonance as Republicans voted out a fellow for doing exactly what they all do.. lie, cheat, and steal.
- He was too blatant about it, gotta have plausible deniability, like meeting up at a rest area for gay sex.

It’s not global news though even if we’re all happy about it. Belongs in uspolitics or news at most. Global implies other countries would care and it would affect them. He’s a nobody on the global news front
