When you aren't allowed in the kitchen but some jerk is in there making food AND NOT GIVING IT TO YOU YET!

What sorcery is this that to you can keep a cat out of a room without a door simply by disallowing it?!
She is a demanding cat but the tradeoff is that she is extremely well behaved. Knows what she's allowed on and what noise means she has to leave somewhere. So kitchen is usually okay but if I'm cooking or whatever I'll make the noise and she'll complain but leave. (And then complain from a reasonable-ish distance.)
Except my stereo receiver, which in her defence, is a nice toasty place to sleep. So every so often I'll wander into the living room and hear a very guilty meow as she leaps to pretend she wasn't sleeping on the receiver.
Guilty meows 😻😻😻
Just do your best to keep cat hair out of the receiver. My kitty killed my best HDMI receiver that way...
My cat will go to the basement and cry as loud as he can when he's caught breaking the rules.
me: "The food is cooling down can't you just wait one minute?"
the Cat: "sounds like a you problem, cool down faster!"
