Texans approved billions in spending on fossil-fuel-burning power plants. What comes next?

But no change to the power lines? No upgrade to a smart energy grid or any kind of energy storage systems to save any extra power?

What the fuck is Texas doing spending money on dumb shit? Why do Texans accept doing things the worst, most expensive way possible? Do they not see how it enriches the same people who made the power problem?

Anytime I talk to a Republican they always insert "follow the money" into their conspiracy pitches but never once do they understand what happens when they get to the end. Jesus the whole state is a waste of effort that's been monetized.
