The Ontario NDP must reinstate Sarah Jama

It's not going to happen. Our world has grown too simple to uderstand the nuance of "maybe killing 5x as many kids in retaliation for killing kids is also bad", and people will say "yes but" as if anything can make that sound justifiable instead of one deplorable war crime after another from people who know better.

Our opposition party holding this person up as a scapegoat was just preordained. And now she's toxic.

I think headlines like this should be prefaced with something to let us know it's an opinion piece, and not a legal ruling. I came into this thinking it's a bit of an extreme ruling, and here I find it's some people stating opinions. Validity of their reasoning aside, it should be more explicit, especially in a format where comments are read, and often made, without reading the article.
