Been there for years now, yeah. But now with drops scaling by level, waiting a while to do that AIP nets you some T4 or T5 materials!

I had this happen too, they were all upright, hovering in a circle between 2 crates.

saw the same thing during that mission, though they were piled neatly next that desk, so I just thought it was their stockpile.
But, not complaining. McGyvered a lot of crafting materials out of them.
I'm on my 3rd time through the DLC and that pile of guns is always there.
