Yes, I believe drug use sites are helpful as a bandaid to this situation. However I don't understand why safe access to drugs isn't yet on the table.
I don't understand why investing in families so people never turn to drugs in the first place is not on the table.
Harm prevention is better than harm reduction. So why is nobody talking about supporting families?
At this point, it is kind of mind boggling. While I'm not 100% sure it's the ultimate answer either, why not at least try it? I mean it's not like what we've tried so far is working super well.
Yes I completely agree. I think of our great marijuana legalization and the predicted depravity that was going to result. It didn't. There aren't stoners driving all over the roads, causing mayhem and madness. Alcohol is still the killer to beat.
The drug black market thrives while our friends and family suffer or die.
