Dash cam suggestion?

I just got my first car and I was thinking I should probably get a dash cam since it has to stay in the driveway, but I feel out of my depth. I don't have a lot of money so I'm hoping for one that is at most around AU$100. I also think covering both front and rear would be best, but obviously will take advice on that regard. Are there any specific ones you would recommend? I feel completely out of my depth. Also, I'm located in Australia if that makes a difference.

70mai has a silly name but their cameras are pretty good.
Definitely recommend one. My little truck made it 30 years before someone blew a stop sign a totaled it. Worthless cops said "eh, we can't tell what happened; no fault." Just a simple forward facing camera would have made all the difference.
I got a 70mai A800SE with rear cam, not high end but it's pretty ok. It does come with parking surveillance mode but it's an addon kit sold separately. The downside is same as other digital cam, it can't do night-time capture well, plate number will be blurry if the car is moving, and any light shine at the cam will be displayed as a light sphere.
Not sure if its available in Australia though.
Dash Cam Owners Australia has a store that features a lot of different cameras. From their video compilations, it seems like the Blackvue cameras work pretty well. Looks like their offerings range from $230 - $900.
I recall one of the dash cam subreddits had some decent recommendations and I bet the Ars Technica forums would have some as well.
