Charges filed against DoorDash driver who allegedly followed GPS into body of water in Middleton

Anyone know why charges were filed against the driver? Were there signs of intoxication? The driver was charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
- Blindly following a GPS and not actually paying attention to the road and/or signage likely counts
- He drove a car into a river.
Interesting in the context of that recent case in which a family is suing Google for inaccurate maps after her husband drove off a broken bridge
- There's going to be a bit of a surge I bet.
- Following gps off a bridge at night that didn't have any signs or cones is a lot different than following a gps off road into a river
