Got into Jethro Tull recently. Curious Ruminant is surprisingly good for something so late in the band's history.
Lots of Afrobeat! I love Fela Kuti. Check out Sorrow, Tears, and Blood
I listened to some Vietnamese rock songs on YouTube. The language hurts my ears when spoken because it's so tonal and twangy (no hate, my ears are just not used to it) but it sounds cool when sung. I haven't found anything yet that really knocked my socks off but I've been enjoying it.
- Try Cantonese Popular Music in the 70s/80s/90s (I heard a few random modern ones and the modern ones suck ass lyric wise lol)

  Tonal language is very unique, I like them (yes maybe I'm biased since I speak one of these tonal languages)
  I think Vietnamese sounds kinda like an alt-universe version of Cantonese, the tones are so similar, but most words don't make sense to me. Cantonese people and Vietnamese people kinda descended from a common ancestor in... not that long ago in the past (relative to the entire human history). Vietnamese sounds so cool tho, I mean I think the nasal sounds are a bit too "extra" compared to Cantonese, but it sounds cool.

  Yet to get used to either languages, but they sound great to me when sung.
I've discovered Esperanza Spalding. Smooth Soul and Jazz. Great music for cozy mornings.

Been checking more Japanese songs from symphonic metal or adjacent genres, like Babymetal's Metal Kingdom, Hiroyuki Sawano's aLIEz and Marks, and Some Dreams/Mary Skelter 2's Witchcraft - Theophile's Miracle. Sadly finding anything is as hard as doing so for English songs ;-;
