I didn't realize the truth is "edgy" now.
It's all in the phrasing. It's the difference between "god isn't real" and "there's an emptiness where your misplaced faith lies".

Maybe they shouldn't be raping kids and people wouldn't have such adverse reactions to them raping kids 🤷

I think they were using "edgy" in a positive way. Or I am way too literally-minded for my own wellbeing. Or both.
