Do populists always crash the economy?

Tell me you don't understand populism without telling me you don't understand populism.

Populism is about appealing to regular people. Trump gets called a populist because his campaign rallies spoke to the working class, but his actions are anything but populist. Bernie Sanders and AOC are true populists because they push for policies that help the majority of the population.

We need to stop demonizing the concept of populism and to stop associating it with Trump or nothing will ever get fixed in this hell hole of a country. True populism is about taking care of the people.
