The US government is increasingly likely to shut down next week. Here's why.

The Democrats need to make strong, no-compromise demands and they need to start calling for a general strike right the fuck now.

National ban on gerrymandering.
Demand Trump’s resignation or removal.
National RCV.
Abolish ICE completely.
Remove and ban tariffs.
Tax the billionaires and landlords.

Until we get it all, government stays shut down and the entire US populace stays on strike.

Start talking now, Democrats. Get loud, make demands, or watch the US die as willing accomplices of fascism.

Just a distraction from Epstein. GOP will pass their spending bill and no Dem will even try to filibuster. Dems can't be seen as shutting down the govt (shutdown so we can get MORE spending makes no sense). Republicans can (cutting spending).
