Contact Skavau and ask him to add your community to one of his feeds. As soon as he does so all the feed subscribers will automatically join your community.
Isn't that a bit spammy for the feed subscribers?
That is the intended behavior. When you subscribe to a feed you're saying to the feed owner - "I consider you to have your finger on the pulse, please help me keep up with what's new"
