If you care you have to check the product label. The signs in my stores for Canadian products are arbitrary and misleading. A Canadian product can sit unlabeled right next to one with a red sticker that’s just as CDN as the other.
There is no consistency, the flag stickers are used to drive sales not to provide actual info.
Most stores aren’t even trying to get it right.
