Bullshit. They put him up to the job to do exactly what he's doing (he is the perfect lapdog), and now they're using him as a scapegoat as it becomes clear he won't win another election

As soon as MPs start talking about replacing him. Or it looks like hell lose the next election. They will find a new puppet. Either in another party (reform) or within labour.
The issue is. None of the parties look to be much above 20% in polling. This leaves the billionaires with a genuine unknown future. It will be easy for the voters to move from party to party over the next 4 year leading to the election.
So at some point they are going to start funding multiple options they consider safe. Tory Reform and a Right wing Labour Leader they think can be sold to the public.
