The Trump administration reportedly plans to mobilize up to 1,700 National Guard troops across 19 states in the coming weeks to support its immigration and anti-crime crackdowns, a dramatic expansion of the controversial operation that’s seen federal agents and Guard troops carrying out activities across Washington, D.C.
The troops, who will largely be activated across Republican-controlled states, will serve in support of the administration’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations, as well as other law enforcement priorities, according to comment from unnamed Pentagon officials and documents obtained by Fox News.

So 89 troops per state? TF are they going to do? Respond to calls slower than cops? Stand near a peaceful protest? Guard a federal building? Learn to be detectives and work cold cases with their brigade while documenting their progress by producing a biweekly true crime podcast?
National Guard, by and large, does not want to be doing this.
- This isn't meant to solve anything. It's meant as a test to see if people will let him get away with it. Once it's normalized he can start his real attack.

This surprises me, I would have thought he'd do the opposite. He's doing it in areas more friendly to him first before escalating to everyone else, I guess.

  Regain control over Latam. Split the world with Russia (Europe), China (Asia). Keep the middle east and Africa unstable.
  Stop free trade/exchange, etc. Put firewalls on the Internet to control who can access what.
