If not coup, why coup shaped?
All I see is loyalists sending troops to pledge their allegiance.
They're practicing and testing the limits. When the elections in 2026 happen, expect them to take over Democratic cities

  Vance says D.C. police takeover an example for other cities
They can get away with it in DC, which is the abused foster child we keep in the basement. Nobody is watching out for DC.
They won't get away with it in cities like NYC, LA, and Chicago, where there are strong governors who won't allow it.
- Haven't they already done it and mostly gotten away with it in LA? I think there's some ongoing court cases on if it was legal or not, but that doesn't really matter if it doesn't stop them.
  
  They didn't fully take over the city's law enforcement in defiance of the mayor or governor, they sent them to support Federal ICE activities.
