Paul Newman was a rival of McQueen on the race track and the silver screen.
Newman had modified several Volvo station wagons so he could smash the speed limit without looking like a racer.

They sound so good. I love modern motorsport and the push for sustainable and renewable energy but the hybrid and electric era cars can't compete with the sound of the old, inefficient petrol engines. I'm glad these things are being restored and shown off instead of being lost and forgotten. Who wouldn't want to take one for a rip?
