All the money spent enforcing this could've been spent helping out Nebraska's poorest residents.
You mean the state that's furthest from all the borders is worried about immigrants?
- Perfect place for a prison. The residents have been trying to escape the state for years.
- Keep in mind that any inmates are counted in census and used to determine how many representatives the state has, even if they themselves can't vote.

And just like that Nebraska's population increased tenfold. But the level of satisfaction living there stayed at 0%.

  I’m from Iowa but have been living in California for ~10 years. When driving back it’s Nebraska where the reverse culture shock really hits the hard.
