Almost forgot to post today. Still drudging through the Weck shaves. Gotta hunker down and get through the next few days of August.

Totally forgot to strop, but as has been shown by some of our members, stropping sometimes isn't required! Maybe it was the lather, or the unstropped blade, or my technique, or all of the above... I give this shave a 10\10.
Stropping is overrated 🤣

2 passes. Face lather. Good shave.
A very quick 2-pass shave today. In and out in about 5 minutes. Not the best shave as a result.

Quickie
Yes, my 30 year old self would be disgusted to know that in my advanced years a quickie is just a quick shave. 😉

Today it was due time for a good head shave, but I only got to it shortly before Midnight (local time). I had a lot of stubble to cut down, but the Perun did it with ease. Maybe this blade is a good fit for it, unfortunately I just have ~4 of them left.
Chiseled Face's and Stirling's soap bases are kinda my "Ol' Reliable", i.e.: Nothing too fancy with tons of exotic butters and oils, but good ingredients to whip up a nice lather fast and have just enough slickness for your shave. It also helps that GTB is such a interesting & spicy take on the faux genre of barbershop scents that it's quite pleasant to use.

Today was Djunior's first day of school. Time shouldn't be allowed to fly that fast.

Woah! Big step. Huge rite of passage.
💯
That's exciting! I look forward to our son having free daycare 5 days a week 🤣
I wish! School is free here, but that's only around 3 hours per day at this age and the daycare around it with lunches etc has means-tested subsidies. Families like ours with two working parents usually don't qualify 🤷♂️
