I'm just imagining being relaxed and going fast, then something startled you and BAM. Suddenly brake and fly off the board. Maybe have a humourous landing in a dumpster or a pile of manure.

wait. is clench=accelerate or clench=slow down?
I think clench to brake would make more sense. Just relax and you'll be cruising
