- the transitional tracks are controversial. some people like them. others hate them. i dont really care for them.
  basically if you like running a track 3 times, you will hate world as it turns courses 2-4 in a given cup into 1 transitional track and 1 lap instead of 3 laps in a circuit
- I'm guessing they are referring to the lack of 3-lap races. I'm mk world you travel from one track to the next, and you just do 1 lap of the actual track at the end. The travel between tracks is an "intermission track", and turns out people liked better just running 3 laps.

hi, mkw is objectively worse than mk8dx due to the fact it has way less tracks and way less customizability. at most you're missing out on knockout tour, which is fun I'll admit, but its not worth $500+ dollars.

Yeah, I felt like I experienced everything MK World had to offer in about a week. MK8 DX is just massive. There's so much variety.

I’m pretty good in MK8. Tried MKW in a store and I hated the handling. I’m sure it’s fine, when you get used to it and find the right kart but I missed MK8‘s tightness.

But to console you: I don’t even own a switch. Or a Wii U. Can only play MK Wii and DS at home.

MK Wii is where it’s at, especially modded
MKW made it much more annoying to recover if you fall behind for any reason, but if you're in first place ahead of everyone else it's mostly the same game as always.
- You know what I hated? When you're playing online and you red shell someone, their kart is meant to spin and their character all annoyed and whatnot and this will at least waste them 5 seconds at least but in this case no, they just spin for a bit and suddenly keep going.
I play MK8 against my kid, and never realized that the choice of carts makes a difference. Do the tires and glider make a difference too? I always just used the Mii Mercedes.
I rarely play it with him anymore, he prefers “Wreckfest” - which is a lot of fun too, but I find MK8 more challenging.
- The choice of character, kart and tires matter a lot actually. The choice of glider matters a little.
  If you’re somewhat good at drifting and getting stunts, maxing acceleration and handling over any other stat (which you can see in the kart selection menu, when you press + or -) is the way to go. My standard setup is yoshi + the bug car + roller tires + parachute. I think there are technically a few karts that are ever so slightly better but I‘m to vain to use them.
I don't blame you, you still get to play the game at its best if not, it's most simplest game, plus you get to see your Mii characters walking around Coconut Mall on Wii, not so much in MK8 apparently 😂

Playing 8 on my totally legit not Valve related handheld is still a great experience.

I'm still playing the original Super Mario Kart on my ~~UNAPPROVED HARDWARE REDACTED~~ and doing fine.
