-No its not, there is literally no difference between any other kind apartment building! The only issue with it was that it was kinda ugly; which was solved by repaintings (kinda like in the pic, tho that building is very much so ran down)
-If it was, which again its not, it would beat homelessness! It was also meant as a temporary solution, a goof one for its time as it had gas, electricity and running when that was not common
I lived in the panel houses in east germany in the 90s. They were terrible in insulation both sound and heat. You could talk to your neighbour while on the toilet. Mould loved to collect in the hallways as those did not ventilate. I could go on
This comment is stupid. Panel houses have no insulation (acoustic or thermal), are exxxtra small, have bad layouts.
