Hiroshima marks 80 years since atomic bombing

Had the pleasure of going there some time ago. I really liked it. It's a serene town, the park with the museums and monuments is brilliant. They manage to both highlight the atrocious effect of the bomb while also not shying away from their role in the war. Highly recommend visiting if you get a chance
