Seems like conservatism is always locked in an inward battle between cynical grift and genuine crazy.
If media bubbles didn't dominate the landscape they would see common cause with the farm workers who also don't like breathing pesticides when working in the fields.
What this reveals, again is that MAGA is just vanilla Republicanism with a populist veneer. At the end of the day, it's just going to be tax-cuts and deregulation because that's all Republicans know or care about.
