I thought this was interesting. These high ups are making decisions about treatment practices, hiring policies, funding allocation, policies and so on. If they don't like women, they won't do a good job.
Sad to hear, but not surprising :/
Where there is systemic transphobia there is usually also misogyny
But that can't be right cos the manosphere are very passionate about protecting women from trans women. /s
