Hey so lemmy.ml folks there is this bot account that copies comics from here to lemmy.world. I initially just blocked the user so that in my feed I could see mine without duplicates but I was looking over what it does and this is an experiment im doing with the title. If it gets copied over as I think it will then I will keep the format.
FOLLOWUP EDIT - So looks like the user had to edit the bot behavior which at least causes them to have to put some individual effort into it so I will keep it up while I look it over.
If other instances won't ban repost bot accounts, especially those with the intention of growing their own domestic user counts at the expense of other instances, there's nothing we can do about that unfortunately. We certainly wouldn't allow them here, and people should report those accounts.
Yeah Im just gonna do the title thing to force the guy to put in some human effort.
