The right foot brake thing is something I’ve only recently learned of for these older cars.. I suppose that was to help with turbo lag somehow and the need to heel and toe in a normal pedal setup?

Basically, they rev the engine and then release the clutch so the engine rpm matches the road-speed in the lower gear. It allows for faster release of the clutch.

I love it I love it I love it.
Such a cool moment in time. Every time I see Ollie off the track it brings a smile to my face. He really seems like a great guy getting to enjoy his career with youthful excitement and sharing his passion with the ones who came before him. Also love seeing Alain staying active in the motorsport world. He's undoubtedly drawing fans of all ages, Ollie being one of them!
