Steel-toed work shoe suggestions?

My local discount store doesn't have my size in work shoes right now (US 7.5 women's, 5.5 men's) and I was wondering where people buy them online.

The discount ones usually last me 2-3 years, and the mid range ones were the same. Super expensive and high quality might last longer, but I can't really afford them tbh. The absolute cheapest I got had the soles fall off while walking on a hot roof, so some known quality would be nice.

I'd prefer steel over composite, because the composite is the failure point this time. With steel it was always something else.

I'll probably end up picking up a new pair when I have more reasons to travel to a different store, but it doesn't hurt to hear people's suggestions. They can be boots or sneakers. I just want the right size.

"Carolina Boot" was the brand for me back in the day, I bought mine at an army/navy surplus store. Classic lace-up steel toed boot. Heavy but comfortable. What's your price range? That might help people to help you.
- $40-80 is what I usually pay. Over that has given me the same experience as this range, but I really don't know brands.
I used to have a pair of steel toed Timberland boots that I really loved.
When it comes to shoes, it's worth paying a hundred bucks or so to get good ones that will be comfortable and last for a long time. I know that's not always feasible, but if you can, it's worth it. It costs less in the long run.
My current boots are Rocky brand. They are similar price and quality, but I preferred the Timberlands because they were lighter.
- When i bought more expensive shoes, I felt like it was just a fancier store markup for basically the same shoe. That's why it's useful to know good brands, thank you! It's not at all worth it to buy something that's more expensive just assuming it'll be better.
  
  Oh yeah, brand matters a lot. I had those Timberlands, wearing them mostly daily, for something like 7 or 8 years. Before that, I bought cheaper shoes and had to replace them every couple years.
