Needs context of the community or at least of the "Rule 3".

  While I think the mod is just doing regular mod stuff; that is an overly broad rule to justify it.
  I think one can argue that excellence to our fellow beings would be a revolution that burns all those houses down!

You not agreeing with the rules of the comm does not automatically translate to the mods power tripping.
