The new tool, called Mobile Fortify, uses the CBP system which ordinarily takes photos of people when they enter or exit the U.S., according to internal ICE emails viewed by 404 Media. Now ICE is using it in the field.

You idiot. I said in my post "decline at the airport" - meaning decline when the TSA asks to do it at airport security Not when ICE tries to take picture on a street

You can opt out at the airport. That's a fact. Not sure how that relates to whatever you're saying but doesn't matter because whatever you are saying is not relevant to the conversation.
They have the passport photos already regardless... So don't travel to the USA...
I've done it. Recently. Walked up with my palm covering the camera so it didn't see me while I approached, stepped to the side of it once I could, said I opt out, and went through.
They already have your face when you got your license @ your local DMV.
Don't be defeatist. Every new capture benefits them, and every refusal takes that away from them.
